Our schools are strong, and our community has a lot to be proud of. But we cannot afford to be still. Every student deserves access to high-quality education, dedicated educators, and opportunities that prepare them for success.
By investing in our educators, prioritizing student outcomes, and strengthening partnerships with families, we can build on our momentum and elevate our schools.
As your School Board member, I will continue to advocate for:

Every student in WJCC schools deserves a path to success after graduation. I’ll work to create new programs and partnerships, especially for students who choose not to pursue a college degree.

From better pay and benefits to providing essential resources, I’ll prioritize the needs of our teachers, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, and staff, and support collective bargaining for all employees.

I’ll protect the right of parents to be involved in their children's education so we can improve student outcomes and increase satisfaction with the school system.

I’ll implement regular surveys to gather feedback from students about their experiences, use this feedback to make informed improvements, and advocate for getting a student representative on the board.

Students learn best in small classes. I’ll invest in teachers and facilities that allow us to maintain small class sizes that create a more personalized and effective learning environment for all students.

Our students deserve a nurturing and safe school environment. I’ll advocate for hiring school-based mental health professionals, providing paid mental health training to teachers, and district-wide free meal programs.

Every student possesses unique talents and abilities that deserve recognition and support. I’ll foster an environment that celebrates diversity and individual strengths through a growth mindset culture.

We owe it to our community to spend every dollar wisely. That means investing in what works for students and cutting unnecessary costs. By exploring solutions like solar roofing, we can reduce long-term expenses and redirect those savings into classrooms.

I firmly believe that a responsible School Board should be highly responsive to the needs of teachers, staff, students, and parents. I’ll commit to being transparent and accessible to as we work to make WJCC the best it can be.
